 Fiber Arts
I began knitting as a child, and recently returned to the art when my sons were born. Now, I identify as a knitter more than I ever imagined I would. There's a whole new world of yarn, supplies and patterns, and an amazing community of fiber artists available everywhere.
I love knitting anything from simple toys to complex lace, baby blankets to men's hats, and everything in between. I'm also an avid fiber fanatic, collecting yarn for use in future projects. I have a large network of indie dyers and spinners that I patronize, as well as shopping in Local Yarn Stores during my travels.
Currently, I knit primarily for friends and family, but I am also working on some patterns and knitwear/knittied objects to sell, and my AllyKatt Hatts are a big hit on the convention circuit.
