As a child with an over-active imagination and strong interest in reading, movies, and theatre, I discovered the world of roleplaying gaming pretty early in life. From the Chronicles of Narnia to J.R.R. Tolkein's Lord of the Rings, I was fascinated by creatures of myth and mystery. Dungeons and Dragons was the coolest thing that I could imagine when it first came out in 198-, and I played whenever my older brother would let me. I continued playing with different groups of friends on and off through my middle school, high school and college years. Different groups brought about different interests, games underwent massive changes, and time constraints finally led even the most avid of players away from the game.
Dungeons and Dragons (and all other games featured below) is a Roleplaying game. These games are not meant to be taken literally, or believed real in any way. They are meant to be played for fun, just like any other good recreational activity. Most gaming groups consist of students and professional adults who get together and play different games a few times a week. Below are links to some of the games I used to play. These links can be followed to see what kind of books are available for each game, as well as a description of the system. Read and enjoy!
